Army Farm Slaughter – A Fashion Faux Pas
“We just saw the target and did what we were trained to do up in the Curragh,” said a brave member of the Irish Defence Forces (IDF) earlier today.
Mix Up
Private Willy O’Sean revealed the carnage that resulted in livestock being gunned down on a Monaghan farm may have been the result of a Fashion Mix Up where they were only able to see the animals as targets.
That point has been given credence by a bovine entertainment-fashion expert who writes for on-line magazine “Cowz”. Cindy Heifer stated “These particular animals may have been in a hurry this morning and thrown on the first thing that came handy. Unfortunately it was these cotton Tees with a particular logo on the front. They’re available in Pennies for €2.99 at the moment and a wonderful addition to any wardrobe. But obviously not in this case.”
No blame has been attributed to anyone at this stage and it’s believed the government may set up a commission of enquiry.
